This 4 part series will introduces the basic principles and practice of Tai Ji Quan, sometimes spelled Tai Chi. Tai Ji is a powerful tool for making positive change in your health and wellbeing. This series is open to all ages and levels of experience. Time: The class will meet on on Wednesdays from 5:15-6:15pm on September 29th, October 6th, October 20th, October 27th. Location: Sequoia Kung Fu & Yoga. Attendance may be in person or over Zoom. Cost:$60. Free for current members. Content: Students will learn the following. -Gentle movements to open up the body -Breathing exercises to reduce stress -A working definition for the principles of Qi, Li, & Yi -Mindful Walking exercises for balance and meditation -A short Tai Ji Movement form for health |
